ขั้นตอนการให้คำแนะนำ

ในเวลาที่เราจะให้คำแนะนำคนอื่นเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ เรามีหลักการและวิธีในการคิด ดังต่อไปนี้

1. Ask for the facts and try to understand their causes.

ขอข้อเท็จจริงและพยายามเข้าใจสาเหตุเหล่านั้น

2. Think about the problem - does it need action? 

if so, is it urgent, important or both?

คิดเกี่ยวกับปัญหา - มันจำเป็นต้องแก้ไขไหม ถ้าใช่ มันเร่งด่วนหรือสำคัญ หรือทั้งสองอย่างไหม

3. Consider the advantages and disadvantages of the different pieces of advice.

พิจารณาข้อดีและข้อเสียของรูปแบบคำแนะนำที่ต่างกัน

4. Choose the best piece of advice.

เลือกรูปแบบคำแนะนำที่ดีที่สุด

5. Give the advice clearly to avoid the person misunderstanding you.

ให้คำแนะนำที่ชัดเจนเพื่อหลีกเลี่ยงการเข้าใจผิด

6. Explain the reasons behind your advice to the person.

อธิบายเหตุผลหลังการให้คำแนะนำของคุณกับบุคคลนั้น


คำศัพท์ที่สามารถใช้ในการให้คำแนะนำในภาษาอังกฤษ 

(ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ใน Past Tense เพราะเราจะแนะนำสิ่งที่เกิดขึ้น หรือปัญหาในอดีต)

1. I suggest that... (ฉันแนะนำว่า...)

2. You should... (คุณควร...ลักษณะเหมือนสอน)

3. You ought to... (คุณควร...เป็นคำทางการมากกว่า should)

4. You had better... (คุณน่าจะ...ทำอย่างนี้ดีกว่า)

5. You could... (คุณสามารถ... ทำอย่างนั้นในอดีตได้ แต่คุณไม่ได้ทำ)

6. If I were you..., I would... (ถ้าฉันเป็นคุณ..., ฉันจะ...)

7. It's time... (มันถึงเวลา...)

8. It's about time... (มันใกล้ถึงเวลา...)

9. It's high time... (มันถึงเวลาอันสมควร...)

10. I recommend... (ฉันแนะนำ...)
     - I am happy to recommend that...
     - I have no hesitation in recommending...
     - I am pleasure to recommend...

11.  It is supposed to... (มันควรจะ...ลักษณะที่ไม่ได้สอน ต่างจาก should)

12. You have had the opportunity to... (คุณมีโอกาสแล้วที่จะ... แต่คุณไม่ได้คว้ามา)


For examples

1. They didn't know how to deal with their money.

They should have had financial help. (ใช้ Have had เพราะเป็นเรื่องในอดีต)

2. Amy always gave money to friends who asked for money

Amy had better say no to her friends.

3. The Wilsons bought a big house.

If I were Wilsons, I wouldn't buy the big house. (Second conditional ใช้ would)

4. They all started spending their winnings as soon as they got it.

I suggest that they should have taken some time to think about it.

5. Why does the bus come here very late?

The bus is supposed to come here on time usually.

6. She didn't save any of her money.

It's time she saved her money.  (ใช้ V 2 แต่ใช้ในเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบัน)

7. How long will she got a new job?

It is about time she got a new job. (ใช้ V 2 แต่ใช้ในเหตุการณ์ปัจจุบัน)

8. Your boyfriend asked her to get married. 

It 's high time she married. (มันถีงเวลาอันสมควรที่เธอจะแต่งงาน)

เมื่อคุณ Talking about your nose คุณสามารถใช้คำศัพท์ที่หลากหลายได้ ดังนี้

bridge (n.) = ดั้งจมูก

nostrils (n.) = รูจมูก

runny (adj.) = ไหล, หยด (My nose is runny.)

nose hair = ขนจมูก

pluck, pull out (v.) = ถอน (ขนจมูก)

plucker (n.) = ที่ถอนขนจมูก

trim (v.) = เล็ม (ขนจมูก)

stuffy (adj.) = คัดจมูก

stuffed up (v.) = คัดจมูก

stuffed nose = คัดจมูก

clogged (v.) = อุดตัน (คล้ายคัดจมูก)

snout (n.) = จมูกและปากของสัตว์, จมูกของคน (คำแสลง)

boogers (n.) = ขี้มูกแห้ง (My nose is full of boogers)

Don't pick your nose = อย่าแคะจมูก

You need to blow your nose = คุณจำเป็นต้องสั่งน้ำมูก

Do you have a tissue (or kleenex)? = คุณมีกระดาษทิชชู่ไหม

Kleenex คือ ชื่อแบรนด์เนมของกระดาษชำระ แต่ใช้พูดทั่วไปในอังกฤษ
